  10. QUICKPRO <tm> is an Echo Primarily for Participation by QuickBBS Sysops, 
  11. and is limited to ***> WRITE <*** Access ONLY by SysOp's, 
  12. though it is the Sysop's individual option to allow QUICKPRO to be >READ< 
  13. by anyone. All SysOp are Welcome to discuss any Programs Related to QuickBBS.
  14. Examples are: 
  15.  
  16. Binkley,oMMM,AMAX,D'Bridge,FrontDoor,FREEMAIL,Please,Parselst,Xlax,1EDIT,
  17. Qmark,MBU,SWR,TOPED,QuickED,Shampage and configuring other Doors, Etc.
  18. QUICKPRO Should be Available in ALL 6 Fido Zones thru your Local FidoNet 
  19. REC/NEC/Hub and is available in the NETWORK via a GATEWAY.

  21.  *** TOPICS that are allowed:
  22. To be discussed in QUICKPRO may be any Topic related to BBS operation, 
  23. not limited by necessity to QuickBBS specific content, But oriented to
  24. running QuickBBS on an IBM system. The following Rules of Conduct apply:
  25.  
  26.       1. No Profanity or Inferred profanity allowed;         
  27.          any such content in this echo WILL be Dealt with by 
  28.          the Moderator.
  29.  
  30.       2. No FLAMES or Personal Attacks of any kind allowed.
  31.          Intelligent, objective, level-headed discussions or
  32.          debates are encouraged, and friendly kidding is OK,
  33.          as long as the trend is short lived.
  34.  
  35.       3. Use Real Names in the TO: From: Message header.            
  36.          it's OK to sign your Message with an AKA or Handle, but 
  37.          Real Names in the TO: From: areas are Required.
  38.          Unless your Handle is in the FidoNet Nodelist.
  39.  
  40.       4. FidoNet * Origin: lines are Required in the QUICKPRO echo.
  41.          In an effort to Reduce Duplicate message traffic in this
  42.          FidoNet-Origin conference, the use of official Zonegates
  43.          into other Networks is Required.  Messages originating
  44.          on non-Fidonet systems must be routed so that a FidoNet
  45.          address is appended by their Zonegate.  
  46.          
  47.          Systems with dual Identities are required to include their 
  48.          FidoNet address in their Origin line.  
  49.          Their alternate address may also appear, but the FidoNet address 
  50.          is required.

  52.       5. If you have a specific Problem with QuickBBS<tm> or Related Utility
  53.          and are unable to resolve it by First re-reading the Documentation,
  54.          and other Read.me Whatsnew.txt files, then you are welcome to ask
  55.          for Help or discuss the problem here...

  57.          Most of the time the problem is due to a improper Setup 
  58.          configuration or error in spelling or improper Path statement...
  59.  
  60.       6. The bottom line is that if a Sysop objects to the echo
  61.          content, then said Sysop should simply delete the MSG.
  62.          Use his <N>ext or <D>elete keys,
  63.          or Drop the QUICKPRO Echo rather than flood the echo
  64.          with negative comments and attitudes.
  65.  
  66.       7. If you have a New or Usefull Utility that you wish to
  67.          make available thru QUICKPRO, then the Rules are Simple:
  68.  
  69.          List the File by the Name it may be Fre'q or Downloaded by...
  70.          Give a description of the file and how it might benefit a
  71.          QuickBBS or Compatible BBS Sysop...
  72.  
  73.       8. Be sure to include the File SIZE and Max Baud Rate Allowed
  74.          as well as any *Magic* Names and the Correct Zone:NET/NODE 
  75.          and/or (area Code) Phone number to Download it from.
  76.  
  77.       9. A QuickBBS Tag line <IS No Longer> a requirement, so long as    
  78.          the Content of the Message is on Topic. 
  79.  
  80.      10. Software Developers who write Utilities for QuickBBS or who's
  81.          Utilities have been made Compatible with QuickBBS are Welcome
  82.          to participate in this Echo..
  83.  
  84.      11. Replacement of the QUICKPRO <tm> Moderator..
  85.          as long as I am alive and financially able to operate a BBS,
  86.          (I've been doing it off and on since my first Trash-80 Mod I),
  87.          I will be the Moderator of QuickPro, and I will be the one to
  88.          Choose my Replacement..
  89.  
  90. The above Rules are FIRM, violation of said Rules will result in 
  91. a message from the Moderator or your NEC..
  92. And if that does not resolve the problem, Your Feed to QUICKPRO will be Cut.
  93. Participation in this echo is Voluntary,    
  94.  
  95. Reception of this ECHO by ANY Sysop Implies Consent and final acceptance  
  96. of the above Rules.  
  97.  
  98. I will monitor QUICKPRO on a daily basis, any 'violations' of these
  99. Rules will be dealt with primarily via Netmail or thru the *C structure.
  100.  
  101. If a Sysop who carries QUICKPRO Allows Other Sysop Level users to have Write
  102. Privileges then that Sysop should Monitor the Contents and Revoke the Write
  103. Access to any Errant User on his Board... As a Last Resort, the Moderator
  104. will Step in and have the Feed Cut to the Errant BBS.
  105.  
  106. So as the saying goes, "You Can't Please ALL the People ALL the Time!"  
  107. In other words, Please observe respect for the interests and opinions 
  108. of others; as from that grows a better mutual understanding among Sysops 
  109. and knowledge for everyone to maintain and operate a quality BBS! 
  110. after ALL this is ONLY an expensive Hobby for most of us, 
  111. so stay Cool and calm and enjoy it.

  113. QUICKPRO <tm> is not intended to Replace the QUICKBBS Echo,
  114. Only suppliment it as a Professional Level Forum for QuickBBS Sysop's...
  115. As such, the intent of this Echo is to lend Full Support to the Sysop's        
  116. who choose to continue using QuickBBS and its Related Utilities.
